The Kathedra Journal is an academic journal published by the Russian Society of Modern Greek Studies and the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology, Faculty of Philology, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The journal welcomes research articles that address issues of the Greek language, literature and culture throughout its whole history – from Ancient Greece and Byzantium to the Modern Greek period.
Contributions cover a wide range of topics, including history, literary studies, linguistics, ethnolinguistics, folklore and post-folklore of Greece, as well as reception of Greek images and ideas in Russia and Europe.
Publication frequency: 2 issues per year.
